Repression in Islamic Cultures

I grew up as a Muslim woman in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During those years, I was brainwashed and shamed for being a woman. I was taught that my only salvation is to sacrifice myself in the service of men in my life. I was taught that thinking about my own pleasure is a sin and I should stop every thought that focuses on me…
These blogs show some of these cultural traditions. Through these blogs, I hope to expose the duplicity that exists in Islamic cultures in the name of God. I hope to expose that the so-called “moulvis (Mulsim doctor of the law)” who are representatives of religion but they use their influence to keep the cycle of slavery going for women
